What else can you do to improve your home coffee?

Do you love your coffee?

You’re not alone: Coffee culture has spread worldwide so that now everyone can enjoy a cup of joe—sometimes it seems on every street corner. But having coffee out can be an expensive habit, which is why it’s good to learn what you can do to improve your coffee-making skills at home. Then, you can reap the benefits of convenience and deliciousness (even in your pajamas).

Probably the first, most important thing you can do is buy the good stuff—and by that we mean the good coffee. Coffee that’s freshly roasted is so important to improving flavor, as is coffee that’s purchased in whole beans. Once you grind coffee, you release its flavor, so doing that step at home is a must. (Plus coffee grinders are pretty inexpensive.)
